I’ve jumped onto moving trains in India with multiple backpack in tow, boarded planes, buses and scooters in Vietnam with no plan, no warning, or companion alongside my impromptu adventures, worked the consulates in my favor when everyone told me I couldn’t get a visa in time for my flight six hours later, become a champion haggler, and developed a flawless gut instinct for people, situations, and potential adventures. I believe I’d truly know how to appreciate the tours provided by STA, as I’ve experienced some rough and potentially dangerous stuff solo.
I don’t just pretend to love this travel, blog, photography, video thing you’re offering, nor am I turned onto it just because it’s that time of year again. I’ve made this lifestyle my unofficial job, the kind that costs you a lot and pays you in good timescheck out my blog and see what I mean.
This is no part-time passion, son.

I appreciate you two making comments about this. I wanted this last year so badly that I made it happen for myself and kept in mind the STA Intern’s duties while abroad. I made videos, wrote blogs, took pictures, and I realized how difficult this is to keep up with…especially at a face pace during the heat of the summer in cultures I didn’t understand. It’s not an easy task by any means, and I hope to use my experience to push the capabilities of the Interns to new levels. I hope you watch!

One thing, however, I would like to point out is that I thought this internship was supposed to be a chance for people who could not otherwise get a chance to travel a chance for exploration (because of money issues, family, etc)- and Lindsay has certainly traveled!!-perhaps I’m wrong, but I did just want to point that out
