Shopify Unite is an annual conference where Shopify developers and partners come together to celebrate accomplishments as a community and get a first glance at the latest Shopify product features.
Our team has been attending Shopify Unite for the past four years. As well as all of the amazing announcements and content from Shopify themselves (Fulfillment network anyone?!), this year was extra special as our Cloud Architect, Dave North, gave a Lightning Talk.
In getting to where we are today (over 20,000 installs including over 600 Shopify Plus merchants), Dave’s talk gives some insight how Rewind grew to backup over 90 billion objects and some of the scaling solutions along the way. Dave shares tips on how to scale your app and company in order to attract and retain merchants. Learn how we distributed data geographically and added resilience to the Rewind app services.
